Dear Fellow Chaine Members:

I would like to thank Chef Dario Marquez for an absolutely superb dinner.  I would also like to thank our new Vice Argentier, Mark D. Stern, for an excellent pairing of the wines and food.  In addition, I would also like to thank Chef John Nihoff, Conseiller Culinaire et des Professionals des Stats-Unis, for officiating the induction ceremony.

At our next event “Hollywood is Rolling out the Red Carpet for the Chaine”, Lola’s on Harrison is literally rolling out the red carpet for the Fort Lauderdale Chaine des Rotisseurs.  When the red carpet is rolled out the paparazzi will be waiting, so please come dressed as your favorite Hollywood star/couple.  Chef Michael Wagner has put together an excellent menu; each dish has been taken from an actual Hollywood meal. I know this event will be spectacular!  Space is limited for this event since the restaurant is small, but please feel free to bring guests. As always members will have first rights and your check is your reservation. So, please send in your checks as soon as possible.  The dress for this event will be as your favorite Hollywood star/couple with Chaine decorations. If you do not wish to dress as your favorite Hollywood star/couple then please wear cocktail attire with Chaine decorations.

As a reminder, anyone who has not sent in their check for the 2009 Local Dues make sure to send it promptly. This way, you will not miss any future invitations.  Mark you calendar!  Our next event will be on May 31, 2009 at Chef Allen’s so please save the date.
