Dear Fellow Chaine Members:
I would like to thank Chef Courtney Burks from Vienna Cafe and Wine Bar and our very own Vice Conseiller Culinare, Chef Per Jacobsen for a truly exceptional event. The theme was a lot of fun, and both the food and wine were superb. I would like to thank our Vice Echanson Mark D. Stern for an outstanding job pairing the wines. Our next event will be on Monday November 17 at Timpano Chop House. Chef John Davis has put together an excellent menu and is very enthusiastic to do an event for the Chaine. Chef John’s resume includes many accolades including Chef at Mark's on Las Olas, many years of fine dining cuisine with the California Cafe, Blue Moon Fish Company and the Bali Mora Resort in Miami Beach. I encourage everyone to bring guests. As always, your check is your reservation, so please try to send them in as soon as possible.
Please don’t forget to check out our website from time to time. Check out the pictures from our last event, Heroes and Villains. I’m sure you will enjoy them. Also, please mark your calendars for our next events. January 11, 2009 we will get a chance to cook with professional chefs. On February 8th we will be holding an induction dinner at the Samba Room. But please check the website for more dates.
