Dear Fellow Chaine Members:

I would like to thank Chef Allen for a fantastic dinner.  Not only was the food spectacular but the wines were also phenomenal. Even more special was the camaraderie of meeting new people and having a joint event with the Miami Beach Chaine Chapter.  It was truly a very special evening. Our next event is at our own Vice Conseiller Culinaire, Chef Per Jacobsen’s Vienna Cafe and Wine Bar. This restaurant is definitely another hidden gem I think everyone will enjoy.  Chef Per has put together an excellent Alsatian dinner. Alsace is a French region located on the eastern border of France, on the west bank of the Upper Rhine, adjacent to Germany.  Consequently, the food is French with German influences.  I’m sure you will love this menu.  Since Alsace consists of mainly farms and vineyards, consequently, the dress is a little more casual.  Jackets will not be required for this event but please wear your Chaine decorations.  Space is limited since the restaurant is smaller than Chef Allen’s so please send in your checks ASAP.  Again, please feel free to bring guests.  We will have an induction dinner in November where all new members will be inducted at that time.   

I would also like to remind you that the website is being constantly updated with pictures of previous events and dates for new upcoming events.  Please don’t forget to check it out from time to time.
